PROPOSTA DE ADAPTAÇÃO DE UM PROGRAMA DE EDUCAÇÃO PARA O LAZER À REALIDADE BRASILEIRA

Este estudo reflete sobre adaptações de um Programa de Educação para o Lazer (PEL) a ser aplicado com idosos brasileiros. Utilizando alguns termos de busca, identificamos, em quatro bases de dados, seis estudos que replicaram o PEL escolhido, além do próprio Searle, Mahon e Iso-Ahola (1995), que aplicaram o modelo pela primeira vez. Este PEL teve como base o “Community Reintegration Program” (CRP), desenvolvido por Bullock e Howe (1991) para pessoas com deficiência. Os países nos quais o PEL foi replicado foram Canadá e Taiwan. As adaptações são operacionais e de conteúdo. Assim como ocorreu quando adaptado à Taiwan, propomos que seja adaptado em temas como formato, facilitadores, equipe, frequência, atividades e local de oferta. Além disso, atividades lúdicas devem ser priorizadas na transmissão de seu conteúdo. A aplicação deste PEL pode contribuir para o debate do lazer como uma das mais importantes vias para o Envelhecimento Saudável no Brasil.
