A CONVERSÃO PARA A PROJEÇÃO CINEMATOGRÁFICA DIGITAL Estudo de caso de três cinemas do Rio de Janeiro

Abstract

Resumo: Este artigo discute o processo de conversão tecnológica da exibição cinematográfica em película 35 mm para digital analisando os interessas dos setores de produção, distribuição e exibição. Compreendendo as particularidades desse processo no Brasil, são tomados como exemplos das diferentes formas que a conversão tem ocorrido três cinemas localizados em diferentes regiões da cidade do Rio de Janeiro.

Abstract: This article discusses the process of conversion of the theatrical exhibition from 35 mm film to digital analyzing the interests of the production, distribution and exhibition agents. Aware of the particularities of this process in Brazil, three movie theaters located in different locations in the city of Rio de Janeiro are taken as examples of the different ways the conversion has being conducted.
