THE INFLUENCE OF SOCIAL NETWORKS ON INDIVIDUALS’ PERSONAL AND INTERPERSONAL RELATIONSHIPS

The present work addresses issues related to the virtual world and aims to understand the relationship that social networks have with individuals, analyzing their effects, both positive and negative, seeking through it to know which applications are most used by users and how social networks directly affect the lives of human beings, due to the ease and convenience it offers. We can see the influence of social networks in our lives, directly or indirectly,
they are present in the daily lives of individuals. As a research method we used questionnaires via Google forms sent by the WhatsApp messaging application, the target audience of this research were people aged 18 to 40 years. Initially, the research was carried out with bibliographical surveys with releva nt works that support the theoretical analysis of the topic addressed, then we proceeded with the qualitative research, despite the fact that social networks influence both positively and negatively, the majority of users say that the positive influence is greater, although they agree that if used incorrectly it can be harmful and harmful to individuals.
